Delays When Clicking "Save In"

I have a user on my network that when she chooses "save in" from any office
application that she experiences what appears to be the program temporarily
freezing up before dropping down the folders and drives list. It seems to be
longest the first time she goes to 'save in' in the application in question.
Subsequent 'save in' are much faster. There are other systems in the office
which are identical machines which do not experience the same delay/freezing.
Any ideas on what can be done to eliminate this delay.

Hi Andrew,

See if there are any disconnected mapped drives
or FTP locations in the 'Look in' list.
