I cannot highlight and delete text in any MS Office application. I know this
problem is not with my keyboard, because it works fine in Word Perfect. If I
put my cursor at the beginning of a word, then I can delete one letter at a
time -- just not highlighted text. I must hit my space bar repeatedly for the
highlighted area to be deleted.
