delete selected email from pop server

want to leave important email on the pop server and delete the junk and other
that i dont want
how can i do this in outlook 2003 is it possible? (thought i saw something
in the past)

Tools-Send/Receive Settings-Define Send/Receive Groups. Highlight the Group,
click "Edit" and at the bottom of the box, check "Download Item Description
Only"

but
is it possible to delete the emails from server after they download
i think there was a setting (right click or something) and you find it
delete from server (it was a long time ago) or some other way to give the msg
to the pop server to delete that email

Yes. If you download description only, you can right-click on the header and
choose Delete from server.

That is and was available in OE5 and OE6. We are in a Office group and Gordon gave you the answer correctly for Outlook
