I bought a new laptop with a trial of Office 2007 on it. When the
trial was over and it requested that I purchase it every time I would
open a word doc, I decided to load in my version of Office 2000
instead. So I went into Add/Remove and removed Office 2007, restarted
the computer and attempted to load Office 2000. Could not. It said
something about a previous version installed. I can't get that message
back again so cannot be absolutely certain as to what it said. Well,
now I have NO Office product. This is another reason to use open
source by the way. But I'm still open to suggestions from the group to
try to install Office 2000 as originally planned. What should I do;
edit the registry?
