deleting addresses f rom outlook

When someone gives me a new email address I remove the old one from contacts.

But, when I go to send that person an email the old address shows up how do
I fix this issue?

The old address only stays in the address cache. Please mark the entry
by using the down key and then delete the item with the delete key.

After typing the new address (or perhaps choosing from the
addressbook), you find the new address in the cache.
