Deleting Relationships between tables

I am trying to create a database using a template. I need to delete some of
the relationships. But... the standard deleting method dosen't seem to work.
After I select the relationship that I want to remove and press delete... the
whole table disappears. So, then I click "show all tables". All the tables
appear as well as the relationships.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

It sounds like you are selecting the table, not the relationship. Click on
the line between the tables. It should thicker when selected. Then either
press the Delete key, or right click and select Delete from the shortcut menu.
