Deleting sub-projects within a master project which uses a resource pool.

I have a master project which includes many sub-
projects. I use a resource pool for the resources. When
each of the sub-projects get completed, I need to delete
them from the masterproject. This is not working by
deleting the task (indented or expanded). I have removed
the link in the resource pool to the inserted project,
but I cannot get it to disappear.

What am i doing wrong?

Why do you want to delete them? Just collapse the subproject to one line
and leave it alone.

Each subproject is a peice of equipment that we
manufacture. Once the equipment is completed and shipped
i would like to remove it from the schedule so that i
have just the euipment left to manufacturer. At this
moment, i have 20 sub-projects in the master project.

This number fluctuates up & down but usually stays close
to 20.
