Design and Layout Template Woes

Hi Folks

Can someone please advise on the following: when I open Microsoft PPT's
taskpane to view my Design and Layout Templates no templates show - just
blank boxes...what can/must I do to rectify this problem?

Change hardware acceleration:

Then install the latest updates. Click Help > Check for Updates.
