In webcomponents, Advanced Controls I see it but it's
grayed out. How do I install it.

Will this give my site the fly in or hop in effects.

thanks?

With your web open and a page open,
click Tools > Page options. Then select
the compatibility tab and set all drop downs to custom.

The effect you're talking about is transitions, which are
only supported in Internet Explorer.

Thanks, what would be the alternative, something that
shows in all browsers. (what is the diff between this and
dhtml effects?)

dhtml effects use javascript which is
supported in all browsers.

If by fly in or hop in you mean the way menus open
and close then it "should" work in all browsers.

If by fly in or hop in you mean the way a page
opens in a browser, this is called page transitions
and transitions only work in IE.
