Detect Modem

L

Lamar

I go to Control Panel>Phone and Modem Options>Modem tab. I see modem device
and attached Com 3. I click on my modem and select properties then it states
my device is working properly.

So I have a modem but when I try use Fax Console > Tools > Configure Fax.
It tells me I do not have a modem installed. Then I select I want to install
a modem. The problems is I never see my modem on Com 3.

Is there a problem with the modem being setup on Com 3. I use the modem
when I send out faxes on WinPro. Can I use the same modem in the Fax Console
or Outlook? Our IT set-up the software.

Any help. Thank you.
