diagram gallery

In Word 2002, using diagram gallery figures, is there a
way --for example in the radial diagram -- to enlarge the
circles or add arrowheads to the connecting lines, using
the mouse? I want to insert somewhat modified diagrams
into text without drawing them from scratch. thanks

For many of the refinements, you need to disable Auto Layout.

On the Chart toolbar, there is a Layout menu. The AutoLayout entry is a
toggle.

Hi. I don't seem to have a toolbar called 'chart' and
the 'draw' toolbar does not seem have a menu called
layout? Thanks, Joe

Sorry, I should not have capitalized "chart." Depending on what type of
diagram you're creating, you will have a (floating) Organization Chart or
Diagram toolbar. All have the Layout button.

OK, thanks, I see it now. The toggle icon just does not
change enough to show the toggling. Looks the same in both
modes, but I see how to disable it now and enlarge the
circles. You are great. thanks.
