different sized headers and footers

i am trying to make a document with different sizes of headers and footers.
this means i need to set the margins at where the text begins at different
points on the 1st page and continuation pages.

The first header is thicker than the ones on the continuation pages. i set
the boundary of where the text should start on this page but this means that
on the conitinuation pages the text starts too low.

I have tried page breaks to seperate the pages and setting a differnt 1st
page in the headers and footers section.

what can i do to solve this?

You need to divide your document into different sections. Per section
you can define different header and footer formats (font, paragraph
settings, etc)

A section break is not needed just to have a larger header on the first page
of a document/section.
