Different working days in different tasks

In Microsoft 2003, in one project, can we set weekend as working days for
some of the tasks but for the rest of tasks, weekend are non-working days.

Yes.
Select Tools, Change Working Time
Create a new calendar that has week ends worked and any other settings
Close
Select the tasks you want to have the week ends worked
Press Shift+F2 to display the task information dialog
Click the Advanced tab
Select your new calendar in the Calendar drop down.
Select the scheduling Ignores resource calendars option
OK

This should do it. Alternatively you can edit the resource calendars to work
the weekend, but you will need to keep them up to date if the weekend
changes on you.
