difficulties with word 2000

I´ve downloaded a word-addin, which created a new symbol
bar. If I don´t need it, I close it. But when I start new
word, the bar is always on top. I have to hide it. Does
any one know to manage it?

Either park the add-in in the toolbar area or put the add-in in a different
folder and call it when required - see
