Disable e-mail notification for an Administrative project

Andreas Pfander

I have set up an administrative project to track time spent on meetings,
administrative, etc. I have set the allocation of resources to 0% and the
tasks to fixed duration, not effort driven like suggested by Dale.

Now the only problem I am having with this setup is that all our resources
are getting flooded with messages about updates of the tasks whenever
somebody enters time and updates the tasks.

Under Tools/Options on the collaboration tab I have unchecked all automatic
updates except the bullet for " "Publish New and Changed Assignments"
updates resources' assignements when: Start, Finish, % complete out outline
changes" which I cannot diable. When I update tasks I use the
Collaborate/Publish/republish assignments and uncheck the e-mail
notification.

Still resources are getting the e-mails wheneve the project gets saved.

Is there any way to diable e-mail notification on a project by project
basis. I know that each resource can go in and diable e-mail notifications
in general, however I am not interested in this, since I want resources
assigned to tasks be aware of changes to project tasks assigned to them.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Andreas
