Hi,
MS office MSI has the concept of install on first use, which basically
means that a lot of components do not get installed until the user
first uses them. At which point a dialog box pops up asking if they
want to use them, this can be annoying if the use is not actually
wanted but the program just assumes it is - so the question is as per
the subject line:
how can I disable "install on first use" from coming up whenever a non-
installed office component is needed in a document, or how do I make
sure that all functionality is installed so that I never run into
install on first use requests, the second part of this question is
more a worry on my part - if I always choose install everything is
there anything that by won't be installed and will cause a install on
first use - for example Japanese language characters or something like
that?
