Disable viewer

Hi all

When opening doc xls and ppt from outlook, the viewer is displayed. We have
office 2003 and hate this thing called viewer. How can we disable it, and
open docs with full functionality ?+

Either UnInstall the viewer, or change the file associations.

Thanks for your reply. We never installed the viewer, we only installed
office2003 std. ed. Attachments are associated to winword as excel as
default. The docs and xls are opened in an amputated version of word and
excel.

Are these MS Office file viewers or perhaps a copy
of MS Office itself that is in reduced functionallity
mode (i.e. has not been activated or has lost activation key)?

What title & version/build is shown in Help=>About ?

Thanks alot Bob, that was it. What about excel i cant seem to find the same
setting there ?
