Disabling time stamp in track changes balloons

G

Guilherme Silva

Hello from Portugal!

I am using Word 2008 in Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. Someone knows if there is a way
to disable time stamp in track changes balloons. I would prefer if people do
not know the exact hour and minute when I have done my work.

Thanks

Silva

1) Keep a copy of the document before any changes were made.

2) Turn Track Changes OFF and make your changes.

3) Use Tools>Compare Documents... to mark up all the changes in a single
command.

All of the changes will then have exactly the same time-stamp.

It also means it is much less likely the document will get broken by
conflicting changes.

Cheers
