I have a powerpoint presentation that I prepared on an older version of
PowerPoint (I can't remember which one, but certainly older than 2000) in
which I have a series of pictures that are animated (with zoom). When I play
it on PowerPoint 2003, the pictures go blank (leaving a grey rectangle) just
prior to the next picture being animated. Therefore the slide ends up with
only the last picture being displayed surrounded by lots of grey. In
PowerPoint viewer 2003, the same thing happens, except the color is green!
Interestingly, when I re-do the animation (which I find a particularly
cumbersome process in PowerPoint 2003) the problem appears to go away! This
suggest that the problem is in how the presentation that was prepared in an
older version of PowerPoint is "read" by PowerPoint 2003.
Any ideas on how the problem can be avoided without my having to completely
re-animate all my animated pictures?
Thanks,
Mark.
