Disappearing auto signature

I have an auto signature that gets put on all my send emails. The last
three days it has disappeared. I go into tools options general email
and the screen is blank. I'm forced to recreate my signature each
morning. Does anyone know why this is happening? I've been using Word
for Outlook 2000 for a couple of years now with no problems. It's very
vexing. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Steve Ignots
