Disappearing e-mails

Recently, when I would reply or forward an incoming
message, it will remove it from my Inbox. I could still
retrieve it from my Sent messages.

Nowwww, it is not saving my Sent messages either.

I have messed with filters, used help which tells me to do
something in View which my version 2000 doesn't have.

Anybody got any ideas?

Have you installed the latest version of Outlook? Do you use any
Outlook add-ins made by third parties?
