disappearing tasks

We use Project Server 2002 of course with Project Professionals.
When Project Managers publish their projects, sometimes a few of resources
don't receive information about assigned tasks on PWA page.
What more strange: it happens to for example 1 of 5 resources. Republishing
of the project helps sometimes but not in every case.
Do you have any suggestions ?

The reason Microsoft added the PWA functionality is
because of exactly what you are experiencing. Email
depends on your POP/SMTP email server which is known to
loose emails on occasion. Project 2000 did this very
often. For this reason, it is recommended to have your
resources go into the PWA on a regular basis to check for
assignments versus email.

Maybe I didn't discribe my problem clearly enough.
We DO NOT use email notification, my resources don't receive information
about their tasks (or Project Server loses them ?) directly on the PWA page,
clicking the Tasks tab.
I don't know reason and wait still for any ideas...

What can you tell us about the specific tasks that don't publish? Do they
have anything in common?

I wonder if they have something in common...
Some of them are just new fresh projects, some of them are old but with new
added task (tasks) and proceeded by "Publish all" function. One of lost
tasks had only single resource assigned.

The title sounds similar but we generally don't use email notification. And
don't attach notes. The information is missed on resource's webpage. So I'm
afraid if I can apply this patch...
