disk cleanup

I have let the disk clean up run for the whole weekend and it would not do
anything, meaning it just sits on the desk top and stays idel. Can I
override and do disk clean up another way?

What exactly are you trying to do? Do you want to delete everything from the disk including OS, Office, your documents etc etc? If so then use a free utility from this site:

http://www.killdisk.com

You will then need to install everything all over again - a full days work for the novice if you don't have all CDs and serials ready on the desk!!!

Tell us exactly what you want to do before erasing anything from the hard disk.

Regards,

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!
