Dismissed appointment reminders re-appearing

I have over 25 calendar appointment reminders that keep
re-appearing after I dismiss them. They re-appear every
time I open Outlook. Please help!

Close Outlook. Start>Run>"outlook.exe /cleanreminders" (sans quotes but
with the space)
