display images when composing email

steven

I'm designing an email with images in Frontpage and I'm having trouble
1. If I do a copy and past the images do not show up on the email (composing) but it does arrive in good form (with images)
2. If if pick "File Send" on Frontpage I get a missing images and it does not arrive with images

Any ideas

Also...any chance we can get an "add in" for displaying images IN LINE like outlook express did?

Where do the image files themselves live -- on your machine or on the Web? In the meantime, see http://www.slipstick.com/mail1/html.htm for some tips on creating complex HTML-format messages for use with Outlook.

Outlook displays images inline only if the original sender sent them that way. I suppose an addin could change that behavior by saving the files as attachments and altering the <img> tags when the user attempts to view the message, but performance might be an issue. No such addin exists today, AFAIK.
