Display Page Width

I'm sure it is trivial, but when a downsize a window on a
web page I've created, the text on my page wraps, but
only to a certain point. At that point, the words are
cut off and a vertical scroll bar appears at the bottom
of the page.

This is a problem for me at lower screen resolutions. Is
there a way to set the point at which the text stops
wrapping and the vertical scoll bar appears?

Place the page content in a table with a fixed
width of 750 pixels.
