display the note column

Hi, I accidently posted this in the developer section but think it should be
here. Just wondering how to display a note column (has a note icon) with
tasks that have notes, and also displays a check with completed tasks with
project? I had this set up previously but can not recall how to get the
display setup.

Insert the Notes and Indicator fields.

Hi Paul

for the notes column
right mouse click on the column where you want to insert the notes column
and choose insert column .... find notes click OK

for the check icon for completed tasks - this is shown automatically in the
indicators column ... you could make a custom column to show this (tools /
customise / fields) if you wanted a separate column. If you'ld like
assistance achieving this, please post back.

Hi thanks for the response. Not too familiar with project, just wondering

Hi Julie, thanks for the response. I was able to add the column by right
clicking and finding Notes. The only problem is that the column just
displays the text, want it to display a note Icon if there are notes for the
task. Also it is not displaying any checkmarks for completed tasks.

sorry, misunderstood, thought you wanted the note text - insert the
INDICATORS column instead (same method) .. this has the notes icon and the
check marks
