Displaying more of notes field in Entourage Address Book

I am new to Mac computers, so bear with me, please!

In the Entourage address book I notice that only a short sentence is displayed in the notes field in the preview field. In fact, the only way that I can see the entire note is to open the contact, go the personal area and then read the note--not very handy and not what I am used to with Outlook.

Is there a way to display the entire note in the preview or summary mode?

Sorry, this is not possible. Be sure to send in your feedback to request
this feature.

When working in Office, you can use the ³Send Feedback² option under the
Help menu in all of the Office applications.

MacBU is responsive to feedback however not everything gets the priority you
might like.

If you could explain how you are using this feature, we might be able to
suggest some other option.

As to the notes viewing, I use the notes as reminders about people when I am calling, emailing them, etc., and being able to see more than a few characters helps save a bit of time. I am so new to Mac (after years on a PC, including a stint as a Dell techie) that there is a lot I am learning on the fly. I deeply appreciate the help, though, and I certainly won't go back to a PC

Things you might already know. You can easily open a contact from an email
by using the "add to Address Book" shortcut command-option-C. If you already
have that contact, it will allow you to open that contact. There might be a
way to script "open the Other tab". What window do you have open to access
the phone number?

One of my favorites is insert URLs into a message.

I also have scripts to wrap selected text in brackets, quotes, parenthesis.
