Displaying Notes field on a webpage

I am receiving project files saved as MS Access files, that I then use to
drive website content. The problem is that the notes field is created as an
OLE Object field in Access and I've yet to determine a way to obtain the
data in a format that I can display on my web.

Is it possible to alter this behaviour in an export map? Or does anyone know
of an alternate solution.
