Displaying SQL data in sharepoint

Hi, I have an SQL database that contains information on personel,
projects, hours etc. I was wondering what the best way to display this
is within sharepoint. i'd like to be able to filter by multiple
criteria at a time e.g. by project number and date.

Try using FP 2003's Data function to create a Data View Web Part.

(next time try to curb your urge to post to as many newsgroups as possible -
a single SharePoint newsgroup would have been enough)

Note: the above answer assumes you are using a current SP product SPS 2003
or WSSv2

I'd look at the DataView Web Part.
