Displays the page incorrectly

Harry

I updated the web page to my business by adding some
progress photos to certain projects that I am working
on. I do this twice a month, however this time when I
view the web page it displays the pages three times, one
on top of the other. However, when I view the pages in
FrontPage it is correct, but this is not the case when
viewed on the internet. Please help. Thanks.

There are some bugs in FP & in the FP2002 SE related to shared borders & include pages
so make sure you (and your host) see & apply all appropriate patches from:

For info in Service Pack 1 & 2 for FP2002 / MSO XP - see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q325671

For the Host/Server running the FP2002 SE

For Unix server problems on the FP2002 SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q299360
The latest FP SE for Unix that fix the problems
(FPSE 2000 1.4 patch and an FPSE 2002 SR 1.1 patch)
are at http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport

For NT server problems on the FP2002 SE see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q298827
For FrontPage Server Extension 2002 Update - see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q317296

I'm having the same problem with my guestbook, it displays the entry form
twice when it's view over the web but looks fine in Frontpage. Here's a link
if you want to see the problem: www.oitcmusic.com/guestbook.htm I posted
this problem earlier and I believe Stefan is the one who replyed to me
regarding the patches on the server extension. I have since had my hosting
service apply all available patches, and I still have the problem. If you
view source on the page you can see the double code, but it does not appear
in Frontpage. Any other ideas?
Thanks
Brian

Your host does not know what they are doing - or did nothing
The server is running unpatched FPVersion="5.0.2.2623"
The latest version w/ all patches is FPVersion="5.02.6308"

They still need
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q317296
and
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q329086

PS
Once the patches are installed you will have to manually edit the broken pages (remove the duplicate include page code in the online
site in FP) or if your local is OK File Publish all again

Thank you very much. They told me they had done this. I will pass along the
info you provided.
