distribute a slideshow

I am trying to distribute a slideshow/presentation to a user who does not
have PowerPoint. Is there any way for that user to view the file? Is there
some format that the file can be saved as that will allow this?

You could publish your presentation to a web page, where all that is required is
your internet browser to look at the presentation. You could convert it into a
PDF file via the New: PowerPoint to PDF Conversion Tool
