Distribute an Integrated Plan

I have an Integrated plan that contains links to sub-projects. I want to be
able to distribute this Integrated Plan with all of the sub-project data in
one file only. I know I can Save As to a new file and remove the links to
each file in order to save all the data but this is too time consuming and I
may miss removing a link.

I thought saving to a MS project database or an access db would do the trick
but having tried this it is not saving teh sub-project data.

What is the solution to this problem and is it quick and easy?

Thanks In Advance.

Steve,
One simple thing you can do is to create a statically consolidated
master. To do that, create a new project and then go to Insert/Project.
Select each of the subprojects and uncheck the "Link to project" option
at the bottom of the Insert Project window. In the resulting single
master you should see redundant ghost tasks for links between
subprojects. Create a filter to isolate these (use the External Task
field) and then delete the tasks shown by the filter. The end result
should be the file you want.

As an alternative, if you want to preserve the links between subprojects
and still have a single file with all the information, I have a macro
that will do that but it is not freeware. If you are interested, contact
me direct.

Hope this helps.
