Currently we have 60 some odd users who all need access to a set of macros,
so I created the macros and saved them in a template on a shared drive and
changed the start up file location for word on all the computers to this
location. This works fine UNTIL you need to modify the macros. For example
we have a custom macro for each attorney. When an attorney leaves the firm
or a new one comes in we need to modify the macros. When you go to delete
the old template it comes right back as soon as you refresh. I'm assuming
that this is because someone has word open somewhere and the file is
recreated by them. Is there an easier way to do this or is there a way to
update this file without kicking everyone off?
