Distribution list from category in 2000

Hi-
How can I create a distribution list of all members of a particular
category using Outlook 2000?

Not easily. If you've already created categories, why do you need a DL? You
can send a message to all the members of a Category by using a view sorted
by Category, selecting the category header > Actions > New Message to
Contact.

Why? Because it is much easier and repeatable to have a distribution
list than to go through these steps. It's not a big deal - but just
trying to make the tool work as efficiently as possible.

Unfortunately, DL's are buggy, fragile, difficult to maintain and frequently
don't work. Also, they do not permit changing recipients on the fly or mail
merges, both of which can be achieved with categories.
