It is not in the deleted items folder. the only items in that folder are the
deleted emails. I am trying get retrive a distribution list in contacts.

All items you delete in Outlook go to the Deleted Items Folder, including
DL's. Once you have removed them from there, they are gone and you must
restore from backup.

Change the sort order - it's there unless you held shift down when you
deleted it.

It is not in my deleted items list. I did however save just prior to
accidentially deleting on my desktop. How can I get it back into my outlook
2007 distribution list.
