Do slide transition settings affect On Click animations?

Swifty

I have numerous animations on a slide. The first few are defined as After
Previous, then I have an animation defined as On Click.

When I am running the Slide show it does not wait for a click before
executing that animation.

I have found that the behaviour changes when I change the Slide Transition
settings.

What is the relationship between these different settings?

Thanks for the reply.

It will be difficult to make a new slide that matches the last animation
because the Emphasis animation Grow/Shrink expands or contracts the object in
a different way than resizing the object by pulling a corner - if that make
sense. So on my new slide, my object will look different than the object
that was "grown" on the previous slide. Also getting the positioning the
same as a Move animation does is difficult.

Can you give me any advice on that?

Thanks, Swift

If you set the slide transition to automatic, all animations become
automatic as well. That's pretty much the relationship there. :)

There is a kludgy workaround, though. Hang on a sec...

Yes, what you're saying does make sense. Very much sense, actually.

I don't have any real advice there, though. Perhaps Shyam's Motion Path
Tools will help? http://www.mvps.org/skp/mptools.htm
