Do you travel with this computer?

Hi there

Just setup a laptop with W2K Server on it SP3, Office 2000
proffesional SP3 and all the latest patches etc.

When I try to configure Outlook, in a corporate
environment, it does not ask me Do you travel with this
computer and there are no references to offline folders
either under services now option in outlook. Tried to
reconfigure but still no luck. Any body ever seen this
problem, and is there a solution to this without
reinstalling the whole of office again. Tried installing
just outlook but that did not work.

Thanks

Sounds like you have Terminal Services installed. (Offline folders are not
supported under this type of configuration.)

You can't use offline folders in Outlook on a server OS, as far as I'm
aware.

Due to the Swen virus, all e-mails sent to this account will be deleted
w/out reading.
