I have tried everything to clear this picture but it just keeps coming back.
You can look at the picture and it has no properties. If you go to templates
and it says none the picture shows up with all the other items.

Anyone have an answer or a suggestion.

Thank you.

You should ask a question in the body of the post instead of the title. Try
this: close Word, Search and find NORMAL.DOT and delete it. It's a hidden
file so set your search for hidden and system files. When you reopen Word, it
will be recreated. The Normal template is probably corrupt.

Thank you for your information. I will try it. I won't be at the computer
until Monday but will be anxious to try your solution. I have never tried
posting a question on line before and I have to say this was just great. I
received the answer quickly. If I would have tried this yesterday I wouldn't
have been tearing my hair out for hours. Thanks again for the information.
Your help is appreciated.

NO!!! If you delete the normal.dot file, you will also delete your custom
toolbars, macros, autotext entries, and formatted autocorrect entries.
Instead, you can either:
1. Rename normal.dot to normal.old or normal.temp or something else, and
then use the Organizer (Tools | Templates and Addins | Organizer) to copy
your customizations from the old normal.dot to the new normal.dot; or
2. Open the existing normal.dot file, delete the unwanted image, and save
and close normal.dot.
