document changes orientation when it prints

After carefully setting the page and print settings my publisher document
changes from landscape to portrait when it prints. Needless to say the
complete document doesn't print.

Open the Printers folder in the control panel, right-click your printer, click
printing preferences, click portrait.

I also have this problem when I minimize the margins via the printer
settings. Changing the layout in printer settings to portrait doesn't solve
it - when you minimize the margins it seems to force the document into
portrait layout no matter what you do. I have to rotate the whole page 90
degrees so it fits on portrait way up before I print to make sure it prints
it the right way.

Sorry, this doesn't actually solve the problem, but may just give a bit more
info if anyone knows how to solve it?!!

You might look into an updated printer driver. Your problem is not a Publisher
issue.
Go to the manufacturer's web site of your model printer and look around for an
updated driver.

It is always advisable to completely remove your driver before
installing/reinstalling.
