Document is flickering

I am creating a word document with some text boxes and clip art in it. As I
have added more items, the page flickers really quickly and doesn't allow me
to do anything during that time. It will finish more quickly when I reduce
the page size to 50% but then I can't really work on it. I need to post this
on our webpage and it would be very embarrassing if this happened to everyone
who looks at it. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Have you tried opening this document on a different machine? The first thing I'd
suspect would be your graphics card driver, so it might behave quite differently
on another machine...
