Document name or path is not valid

Hi!

Hopefully one of you experts can shed som light on this strange problem:

I'm editing a word doc in Word 2002. It was originally created by someone
else a year ago or so. Everything is saved fine. I can close Word, restart
and load the doc allright. However, after a few hours it can't be loaded in
Word!!

"The document name or path is not valid"

I found a kb describing this error in combination with encryption, however
I'm not using any encryption. I also tried to read it on another machine but
with the same error.


Any thoughts greatly appreciated!
