documents w/ footers & headers

I have about 25 different documents that I want to merge into one. They all
have their own headers & footers, but when I just do a select all, copy,
paste, the footer gets all weird. It is continuing the counting of pages
numbers from the prevoius document, but I don't want that. It is going to be
a manual & each chapter should have their own set up numbers.

Hi,

On each new chapter reinsert the page numbers and chose the number which you
wish it to start at.
Insert
->Page Numbers
Click the "Format" button
Chose "Start at" and enter the number you want.

Hope this was helpful.

Do _not_ use insert page numbers. Each chapter should be a separate section.
