Does Outlook support LDAP and IMAP, and why is there only one of many LDAP questions even answered h

Having problems with IMAP and LDAP - will not bring up ANY entries in the
LDAP directory - Netscape mail works fine.

Again, does no one know anything about LDAP, or why are none of the queries
answered??

I don't know too many Outlook instances that connect to LDAP servers, but it
is supported. We have our Exchange server presenting the GAL via LDAP and
clients (Outlook and others) seem to be able to access it. Some versions of
Outlook also support IMAP, as many people can attest.

Perhaps if you were more specific in what problems orrur, someone could
answer you more definitively.

Problem is, when connecting to a Netscape Mail Server with IMAP, and adding
the LDAP service, the searches come up blank - no errors or anything. The
exact same settings in Netscape Mail (local client built into Netscape
Browser) works fine!

I had trouble getting some versions of Netscape to access our Exchange
server via IMAP. I suspect it's different interpretations of the protocols
by different vendors affecting the results.
