does windows xp come with all languages

I know someone who wants to buy a new computer but wants to be able to use
Japanese settings in the OS and also use the same language in Office. Are
these MUI's included in the English version of XP Home and Office XP?

No, you need to purchase a computer that has
the desired language version you desire. One
cannot change the language of the Windows
operating system or the Microsoft Office software.

No. MUI's are available only for multi-license purchase. Otherwise, you have
to buy the appropriate single-language version of Windows & Office. Last I
heard, running multiple single-language versions of Office on the same
machine was not a supported configuration.
