.dot Templates

I'm using MS Word 2002 on XP.

I have created a few .dot templates but the files created
from .dot templates are very unstable (they crash Word
when opened).

Does anyone else use Templates or have experienced
problems with them?

Everyone uses templates - that's how Word works. How have you created these
templates and what maight be in them that is causing the corruption that
crashes Word? Indeed how are you using them?
