Download problem-Office 2000 SP3 with Windows XP

I use www.microsoft.com to check what Office 2000 updates I need. My notebook
runs Windows XP. The problem appears to be the RECOMMEDNATION is incorrect
namely I am offered to download Office XP SP3 when it should be Office 2000
SP3. As a result the dowload failes when it cannot locate WORDRET.MSI which
relates to Word 2002 (I own Word 2000 - as part of Office 2000 Premium
edition).

Knowledge Base doe not appear to answer/address the problem.

Check if you have anything installed from Office XP. Might want to take a look in your Add\Remove for a hint(s)

My fault.

I SHOULD HAVE STATED that I already tried the 'obvious causes', i.e. causes
which are similar in other SP2/3 dowload troubleshooting issues of 'other
versions, or components of Office.
