Downloading Active X controls.

I am trying to update Microsoft Office. The Active X control download
failed. I have tried everything, downloading script updates, changing
internet options, resetting .dll names, downloading a patch, going through
Netscape, and nothing works. Please help!

Thanks, I tried that, and it didn't work either. Also, my security settings
keep re-setting themselves, I can't keep them at Medium. Does that
contribute to the problem? Any more suggestions?

I tried to do that, but I cannot understand what I am supposed to do in this
step:
a. Copy the batch file and the .reg file to the
\\DomainName\SysVol\DomainName\Policies\GUID of the selected
GPO\Machine\Scripts\Startup folder.
I made the batch file and .reg file already. Eveything else sounds easy,
and it sounds like this might solve the problem. Can you explain this to me
in plain english? Also, is there any way to just unistall the security
update? Thank you.
