downloading emails multiple times

Alright - We've been using Outlook Express at our company
for a while. We just now started upgrading to Outlook
2002. The 2 workstations that are set-up with 2002, when
you first open the program in the morning, for some reason
it will download multiple copies of each email. Usually 2,
sometimes 3 times.

It doesn't do it during the day, while Outlook is sitting
on your desktop running. One message sent - one recieved.
It only seems to happen when you first boot up in the
morning.

I've looked at the email server log file and it clearly
shows that they were only sent & recieved once, and there
are no other messages or anything odd sitting on the
server waiting to be downloaded, but the inbox tells a
different story.

Anybody have any clue what's going on???

maybe you have it set to keep a copy of the emails on the server until x
amount of time.
