Downloading template into XP

I have been trying to download templates onto my computer in which I have
Office XP on. Everytime, it comes up with the dialog box asking for product
key for 2003 in which I don't have (even in trial version) on my computer.
What can I do to get the template downloads?

Just to double-check, did you check your Control Panel and Add/Remove
Programs to verify a trial version of Office 2003 isn't installed?

The computer came only with word pad on it. I had to purchase it for school
so it is the XP student/teacher version.

Are you trying to download templates for a version of Office that you don't
have?

Those that are specific to Office 2003 are visible but marked as
unavailable so I don't think that would be the problem...

Did you check anyway? There haven been several reports of a trial
version of Office 2003 installed by the OEM causing this issue.

Also, what template are you trying to download?
